Daughter of the great singer José 'Tato’ Guzmán, Rosita’s special flavor and knowledge are the result of her being directly exposed, from early childhood, to the art of the most important figures in criollo music. A guitarist and musical arranger with immense talent and sensitivity. He feels comfortable with a number of different musical languages, such as the music of the Peruvian coast, Brazilian music, and jazz. He has worked with a number of artists in Peru and Brazil, of particular interest being his 8 years with Peruvian singer Susana Baca, with whom he has toured all six continents at world music festivals. He is currently at work with master guitarist Carlos Hayre, on a book on criollo Peruvian coastal guitar music.
An American double bass player and composer who started out on the New York jazz scene, where he his extraordinary talent is widely recognized. In addition to touring renowned jazz festivals in Europe, Japan, and Brazil, his search for new sounds and experiences brought him to Lima for two years. Here, he collaborated and worked with the most important local artists, absorbing the very essence of the musical language of the Peruvian coast.
